The volume density of glass flake increases with the decrease of particle size.
Glass flake clay features:
Glass flake is an important raw material for producing heavy anti-corrosion coatings, pearlescent pigments and plastic products indispensable, used in anti-corrosion field, can significantly improve the anticorrosive performance of the coatings, prolong the service life of the object; used in the manufacture of glass flake pearlescent pigment, pearlescent pigment luster far better than natural mica, synthetic mica pearlescent pigment production, and has antiseptic and anti ultraviolet function; used in plastics industry, plastic products can increase the strength, prevent thermoplastic plastic precision parts made of thermal deformation, improve the stability of space.
1, glass scale can prevent water vapor and chemical solvents on the substrate material erosion. The degree of chemical resistance of the substrate or the coating varies with the selected glass raw material, and the glass flake made of C- glass has excellent chemical durability.
2, due to the relative stretching coefficient of the steel, cement and other material and substrate, so in the case of heat shock resin layer easily cracking and shedding, and glass flake could commission a heat stable layer, which can prevent the substrate cracking and spalling.
3, good temperature resistance. The glass flake lining can be used to increase the temperature of 20-40 DEG C than that of the same resin coating, so it is widely used in oil pipeline, hot water pipeline, heat resistant chemical equipment and so on.
4, small thermal expansion coefficient.
